MEET ARGHAVAN

Care That Goes
Beyond
Where It Hurts

Arghavan Rezaei is the practitioner behind Lilita. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in facial care, her work gradually evolved into a deeper interest in jaw tension, movement, pain and whole-body connections—eventually leading her to manual osteopathy.

From Skin Deep to Something Deeper

“My skin feels amazing, but my neck feels better too.”

For more than 20 years, I worked as a professional esthetician, helping people care for their skin and feel more confident. But over time, I began noticing something beyond the skin.

Many clients arrived carrying jaw tension, headaches, tight necks and sore shoulders. As I worked, I became increasingly curious about what I could feel through my hands—the areas of tension, restriction and trigger points that seemed connected to how they were feeling.

What stayed with me most were the moments when clients noticed the difference themselves. They might come in for a facial and leave telling me that their jaw, neck or shoulders felt lighter too.

That curiosity changed the direction of my work.

Curiosity Led Me to Osteopathy

That growing curiosity led me to learn more about the connection between the jaw, neck, shoulders, posture and the rest of the body. I became especially interested in TMJ and hands-on therapy—and eventually, that interest opened the door to osteopathy.

What drew me to osteopathy was its whole-body perspective. Rather than looking only at where discomfort is felt, I began learning to consider how different areas of the body may influence one another.

For me, becoming a Manual Osteopath wasn’t simply a career change. It felt like a natural evolution of the work I had already loved doing for years—helping people feel better

The Jaw Is Part of a Bigger Picture

Today, my background in facial therapy and my training in manual osteopathy come together in the way I work.

While I pay close attention to the face, jaw, neck and surrounding structures, I also consider what may be happening throughout the body. Posture, movement and patterns of tension can all be part of the picture.

My goal is not simply to focus on where discomfort is felt, but to understand the patterns that may be contributing to it—and tailor each treatment to the person in front of me.
